Knitting Group at Spinnakees' Farm in Augusta, Maine

This is Oliver during the end of the last snowstorm. He needed some exercise and kept hopping over to the "Babydoll" sheep and my one Romney "Emily" on the right.

Our knitting group is called "Knitting Babes" and is for all of us who need a night out to share ideas and companionship!

We meet Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm except on Holidays. Call Betty at 622-5343, if you are interested in joining us each week or once a month. I'm hoping we will start work on a "Knitted Babe" next month. I am working on a chocolate doll right now and will post when she is done.

Two wonderful ladies now attend, Blanche and Lois. I really enjoy their friendship. We have been sharing knitting projects, patterns and "snacks". I've found I have to get back on my Nordic Track!

This coming week these ladies want to work on a rug hooked pin project. I have put together a kit for $14. This kit includes hand painted yarn, canvan to hook into, a tiny frame, a rug hook, pin, thread and wool backing. We should all walk away with a pin to wear home.

Last week we made scruni's. The ladies made them for family members. What do you think of these pony tail holders? Cute! Crocheted with a simple chain of 8 with yarn from my shop!
